Recital:

Each year, Kids Etc's Youth Movement Company holds a dance recital at the Manitoba Theater Center the first week of June. This is an exciting event that students work towards throughout the year.

Dance Competitions:

As a member of Dance Manitoba, Kids Etc's Youth Movement Company competitive students participate in the Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival. Our students have also participated in other competitions, such as LADF, Triple Threat Dance Convention, Canadian National Dance Championships, Dance Power and Hall Of Fame Dance Challenge. We have also performed for Team Canada at the IDO Championships.

Dance Education Trip:

Each year we invite our students to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to take part in our Dance Education Trip. The trip involves a number of dance workshops over two days, and also includes competition at the Hall Of Fame Dance Challenge.

Benefit Performances:

As part of our community participation, Kids Etc's Youth Movement Company has performed at various events such as the Teddy Bear's Picnic, Festival of Trees and studio sponsored fundraising events. Our competitive students have performed at the Pan-Am Games and provided fundraising for local charities such as Block Parents Of Winnipeg. These are wonderful opportunities for our students to develop their stage skills as well as fulfill their community responsibilities. Workshops:

Kids Etc's Youth Movement Company offers students the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of weekend workshops. We are committed to bring in qualified guest instructors to teach our students about the latest and most exciting developments in dance, theatre and other mediums.
